Hello Friends-

We are almost finished making our new DVD/CD “Kill the House Lights” and it’s turning out unbelievably well! In fact, we’re so proud of this release that we’ve decided to take a couple weeks off from writing our new record to come celebrate in a bunch of our favorite cities. The DVD/CD is a retrospective that covers nearly ten years of Thursday history and since we’re already taking a trip down memory lane, the venues that we’ll be playing are decidedly SMALLER than usual. After going over some of the early footage, we’re nostalgic for getting raw and intimate with y’all. We’ll be bringing out two very special bands. The first band are our long-time friends, Circle Takes the Square, who will pretty much melt your faces and the main support is a secret for a little while but here is a cryptic hint: “These exskimos (that’s short for ex-eskimos) are one of our favorite up and coming bands.”

The first of 4 shows will be going on sale today at 3 pm EST through our on-line pre-sale ticketing site. As we are playing much smaller venues than we are used to, there will be a very, very limited amount of tickets available through the pre-sale. Due to this fact we wanted to make you a very special offer. If you buy tickets in groups of 2 or more, through the on-line pre-sale ticketing, your ticket will be upgraded with VIP passes that get you into a pre-show meet and greet with us. You can buy single tickets but you have to purchase 2 or more at once to get the VIP passes.
